Let’s See... Let’s Choose... Let’s Change... Project Review 2011
At the beginning of 2011, Peace Dialogue launched the Let's See… Let's Choose… Let's Change… project, which is an experiment to form a group of active young people in Vanadzor. The young men and women involved in the project will take the responsibility of achieving peace in their community, country, and region.

Peace Through the Eyes of Youth
In this booklet, which we decided to devote to the International Day of Peace celebrated on September 21, we have published only some of the numerous works presented for the contest of creative works called “Peace Through My Eyes”, in which a lot of young people from Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Dilijan, and Ijevan took part.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS PRESENTED THE DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE COPPER MINES NEAR TEGHUT VILLAGE

On January 26, 2012, in the Zangakatun Charitable NGO’s Zangak Centre in Vanadzor, a discussion was held devoted to the ecological problems concerning Teghut forest. The discussion was organized by the Zangak Centre. Children who attend the centre, their parents, students, pupils from school №2 in Vanadzor, and representatives of several NGOs participated in the discussion. Armine Zakaryan and Mikayel Mkhitaryan, from Peace Dialogue NGO, Gevorg Vardanyan, an activist from the Trchkan civil initiative, and Perch Bojukyan, the coordinator of the AARHUS Centre’s Vanadzor office, were invited to run the meeting and provide detailed information on the topic.    more»
